Livingston is the marketing Director for Bolivar Medical Center What do you like best about your job? I love working in healthcare and especially enjoy promoting our hospital. I have great co-workers. Everyday is exciting and different, it usually turns out differently than planned. I meet new people and learn something new all the time. It is never boring or dull. I assist my CEO with physician recruitment which fits right in with my love to meet new people. I love to show off Bolivar Medical Center and the town. Part of my job responsibility is serving as the coordinator of volunteer services. I find working with our volunteer chaplain's association and the Bolivar Medical Center Auxiliary to be most rewarding. I have made lasting professional relationships and friendships with some wonderful people. What do you like best about living in Bolivar County? I like living in Cleveland. There are many good, caring people here. It is a wonderful town. The folks help you in good times and share your bad times too. One of the best things about living in Cleveland is having Delta State University here. It provides so many wonderful opportunities for everyone. It also brings in new people with new ideas. This keeps the area vibrant. How could Bolivar County be improved? If we could get more industry then we'd have more jobs available. Also, we need an Orthopedic surgeon for our community. We recently recruited the town's first full-time Ear, Nose and Throat specialist, and our first full-time Urologist. These specialists help our other physicians provide healthcare needs of citizens without them having to drive great distances. Orthopedics is a big need. |
