2. BOBBY RUSH DVD TAPING and SKIP JAMES FEST this weekend...

- This Friday and Saturday nights, June 27 and 28, Bobby Rush will put on special "live" performances at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS to be recorded for a forthcoming DVD release. Da Spot has just opened on the square in Oxford. (I believe it is in the old Bodega Pizzeria & Pub spot at 1008 Jackson Av E Oxford, MS 38655. I don't have a phone number or email address to confirm yet!)

IT'S FREE! The Delta Cultural Center in Helena, Arkansas, presents the 2003 Summer Concert Series.Additional performers and dates will be announced, but thus far they have:

8. DELA'S STACKHOUSE TO PUT ON 3RD ANNUAL FEST...

Nancy Kossman has announced the date for her 3rd Annual Exile on Sunflower Festival (in gazebo on Sunflower Ave.). It will be held Sat. Sept. 27.
